Greetings from Cambridgeshire ceilidh and barn dance band, Stumpy Oak!

We’re a lively group of ceilidh musicians with many years of experience who perform in Cambridgeshire and neighbouring East Anglian counties of Suffolk, Essex, Norfolk and Hertfordshire.

The band performs for many types of events including weddings, parties, festivals, pubs and fundraisers. Our musical repertoire draws upon a rich collection of folk tunes from the British Isles. A wide selection of Scottish, Irish, English and Celtic traditional melodies are used to get your feet tapping straight away! Professional Performers

Our bunch of talented musicians have appeared at leading folk festivals throughout the country. Two band members reached the final of the BBC Young Folk Awards, and another won the New Roots competition for folk performers (St Albans). Our performers have CD album releases and have been featured on BBC Radio 2 and Radio 3.
