Ipswich Ceilidh Band & Disco

A warm welcome to the online home of Ipswich ceilidh band, Stumpy Oak!

We are a group of ceilidh and barn dance musicians with many years of experience, regularly performing in Ipswich and all over the UK.

We perform for many types of event including weddings, parties, festivals, fundraisers and even wakes. The band’s repertoire draws upon a rich heritage of traditional folk music and a wide selection of English, Irish, Scottish and Celtic folk tunes are used to get your feet tapping without delay! Professional Musicians

Our team of Ipswich ceilidh band musicians have appeared at leading folk festivals throughout the country. Two performers reached the final of the BBC Young Folk Awards, and another won the New Roots competition for folk performers.
