We are lively bunch of Peterborough ceilidh and barn dance musicians with many years of experience who perform all over Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Essex, Norfolk & Hertfordshire.

Stumpy Oak performs for many types of occasions including weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, festivals and fundraising gigs. Our repertoire draws upon a rich collection of folk music melodies from the British Isles and beyond. To get your feet stamping, we play a wide selection of English, Irish, Scottish and Celtic tunes! Stumpy Oak – A Professional Team

Our talented and highly experienced musicians have appeared at festivals throughout the country. Two of our number have reached the final of the BBC Young Folk Awards, whilst another member won the St Albans New Roots award for young folk performers. Many of our instrumentalists have album releases and have been featured on national radio.
