Welcome to the website for Woodbridge ceilidh and barn dance band, Stumpy Oak!
We are a group of ceilidh musicians with many years of experience who perform all over Suffolk, Essex, Norfolk and the remainder of East Anglia. We are available to provide music at your local venue, including Easton Grange, Woodhall Manor and Ufford Park.
We love performing for all types of events including weddings, birthdays, festivals and fundraising gigs. Our repertoire draws upon a rich pool of traditional music from the British Isles and beyond, using a selection of English, Irish, Scottish and Celtic melodies used to get feet tapping! Stumpy Oak – Professional Team
Our talented musicians regularly perform at leading folk festivals throughout the country. Two band members have reached the final of the BBC Young Folk Awards, whilst another won the St Albans New Roots award for young performers.
